How we handle appliance donations
Appliances need a little more care than furniture. Here is how we make sure they arrive in working order.
Working check
We ask for a quick confirmation that the appliance powers on and works, so only usable units are passed on.
Fridge preparation
Please empty and defrost fridges and freezers the night before so they travel dry and clean.
Safe disconnection
Our crew disconnects washers and dishwashers, caps the water lines and carries the unit out without damage.
Heavy lifting handled
Two people, trolleys and straps for American fridges, range cookers and stacked washer dryers.

Donated items go straight to people who will use them, so condition matters. If in doubt, send a photo first.
What we accept
Clean, safe and usable items from homes, offices and hotels.
Furniture
Sofas, beds, wardrobes, tables, chairs and majlis seating in sound condition.
Appliances
Working fridges, washers, cookers, microwaves and AC units.
Electronics
Working TVs, monitors, laptops and printers.
Mattresses
Clean, dry mattresses with no stains, tears or sagging.
Kids' items
Cots, bunk beds, study desks, toys and prams.
Household items
Kitchenware, lamps, rugs, mirrors and decor.
Office furniture
Desks, task chairs, cabinets and meeting tables.
Gym equipment
Treadmills, bikes, benches and weights.
What we cannot accept
For safety and hygiene reasons these stay out of the donation chain.
Broken or unstable items
Anything wobbly, cracked or missing parts that make it unsafe to use.
Stained or torn upholstery
Sofas and mattresses with stains, tears, odours or water damage.
Pest or mould damage
Any sign of bed bugs, termites or mould means it cannot be passed on.
Appliances that do not work
We only pass on appliances that power on and work as they should.
Paints, chemicals & gas
Paint tins, cleaning chemicals, gas cylinders and batteries.
Fitted joinery
Built-in wardrobes and kitchens that cannot be removed without damage.

Anything not covered here, ask on WhatsApp and the pickup team will answer.
Do the appliances need to work?
Yes. We only collect appliances that power on and work as they should, because they go straight to people who will use them.
Can you disconnect my washing machine?
Yes. The crew disconnects washers and dishwashers and caps the connections. Built-in units that need a technician should be disconnected before the pickup.
Do you take split AC units?
We take split and window AC units that are already removed or simple to take down. Larger installations may need a technician first.
Is there a charge for appliance pickup?
No. Pickup of working appliances is free across Dubai.
What if my appliance is not working?
We cannot donate it, but tell us when you book and we will suggest the best way to have it removed.
